Ah-muh-RAN-thyne — (adj.) Undying, everlasting.
Amaranthine, a word Enya fans know well, comes to us by way of Greece where the combination of *amarantos* for "immortal" and *anthos* for flower join forces to create a mythical flower with undying qualities. Amaranth, incidentally is the name of a subsequent herb. Pronunciation of the word varies according to linguist, but we took Enya's lead on this one.
